Clinical Supervision
‘As knowledge increases, wonder deepens.'
— Charles Morgan
Who you choose as a supervisor matters. Finding a supervisor who meets your needs as a supervisee can have a profound and lasting impact on your confidence, self-efficacy and competence as a clinician and your overall satisfaction in your work. Supervision is an invaluable investment in yourself as a clinician.
Joelle regularly attends supervision, and finds it both enjoyable and vital. Joelle’s experience of supervision has been incredibly rewarding, and her hope is to provide the same experience for others.
Supervision should always be a safe space to ask questions, reflect, share ideas and ultimately learn to develop your own clinical judgement and unique way of working as a clinician. Supervision should feel open, honest, supportive and prioritise both the clients’ and supervisees’ wellbeing.
If you are a clinician looking to:
Develop and refine clinical competencies (e.g.: assessment, formulation, treatment planning, building rapport and client motivation and engagement, managing clinician responses which emerge during the therapy process)
Deepen your knowledge, skill and understanding of working with specific populations or treatment modalities
Improve your confidence in applying specific clinical skills
Debrief about difficult issues or cases that arise in your work
Identify areas of strength and areas for further development
Obtain feedback about your work to support reflective practice
Prevent burnout
We would love to offer you clinical supervision.
